We would like to meet you for an unforgettable day during the ‘vendange’. The lady winemaker welcomes you at the family Domain ; baskets and pruning shears are distributed, and we start the discovery of manual grape picking together with the harvest team (the ‘vendangeurs’).
You will see the freshly picked grapes disappearing into the press, and the secrets of the traditional champagne method will be revealed to you (including a visit to the cellar and the “cuverie” where the wine barrels are kept).
In the afternoon, the tables are set for a meal with a typical dish from our region (‘Potée Champenoise’). We also taste 4 different Champagne Cuvées + 1 Ratafia.
Duration from 10am to 2pm, for groups of up to 20 people, but also for individual visitors.
Price 39 euros/person. The reservation must be made at least 72 hours in advance.
The exact date of the harvest in the Champagne region is different every year. So let us know in good time that you would like to participate, and we will inform you two weeks before the final harvest date. At that point you can decide whether or not the visit fits into your schedule, and make a formal reservation.
